The
Help Desk is operated out of room 3-105. All supply and repair
requests must be submitted in writing. When filling
out a request, please do your best to describe the nature of your
problem and to identify the equipment in your room that
is in need of service. This will help us to process your request
faster. Repair and supply forms are available in the faculty areas,
the media centers (including 3-105), in all house offices, and
online. Requests can be left in the Tech Help Desk mailbox located
in the Tan House Faculty Room.
In
addition to the print forms, we now offer an electronic submission
form for repair work orders. Look for the link further down on this
page.
All
incoming requests received by the Help Desk are sorted and
prioritized. Every attempt will be made to respond to your needs
in a timely fashion; however, repair requests will be taken in
order of priority. Even though we now have a full-time
technician in the building, there may be times when he is inundated
with work requests and is unable to respond to your problems
immediately. There are almost 900 computers in this building, please
be patient and when someone is available, they will get by to assist
you. Important Changes:
Mr.
Russell Dumas, from Retrofit Technologies, has been added to assist
with New Bedford High School's tech repair needs. He will be
responding to most hardware and software repair requests. Networking
issues will still be handled by New Bedford Public School's
technicians out of the Paul Rodrigues Administration Building.

The Tech Help Desk must still have your requests IN
WRITING!! Please be patient as we work through these additional
changes.
Due
to funding cuts, NBHS will no longer have
faculty members serving as Technology Integration
Mentors.

Help Desk Forms Both
supply and work order forms are available in each of the house
offices and faculty rooms. Additionally, there are two ways to
submit Help Desk forms using this Website. One way is to print
out the appropriate form in MS Word and deliver it to the Tech
Help Desk mail slot located in the Tan House Faculty Room. The
second way is to submit your request via our new online forms. To
