The New Bedford High School Drama Club's Annual Awards Banquet was held Tuesday, May 7, 1996 at the Allendale Country Club.

Special Achievement Awards went to: Evan Hickok for Stage Management, Pauline Costa for Vocal Suppervision, Sally Forrest for Choreography, Authur Almond for Hair Design, Dove Avylla for Spirit, and Sarah Bartolome for performing in all eight productions of her high school career.

Scholarships were awarded to: Suzanne Bernard, Nelinha Pereira, Alicia Racine, Erin Silva, and Alex Valentine.

Acting honors went to: Alicia Racine - Best Supporting Actress as Louise in Gypsy, Alex Valentine - Best Supporting Actor as Tulsa in Gypsy, Luke Mahar - Best Actor as Tom Jones in Tom Jones, and Erin Silva - Best Actress as Mama Rose in Gypsy.
