This statue of Prince Henry, the Navigator, is on Pope's
Island in New Bedford Harbor. This is an interesting view of the harbor from
Pope's Island.

The beach is a great place to be on a warm summer day.
You can look at Clark's Cove.

The gazebo in Hazelwood Park is near the beach. You can
hear concerts here in the summer.

The pond at Buttonwood Park is an interesting place to visit in any
season. The zoo at Buttonwood Park is near this pond.

This is the hill in Brooklawn Park. In the winter the park is a place
for ice-skating and sledding.

There are many interesting buildings in New Bedford. This is the New
Bedford Free Public Library. It was once City Hall.

This mansion is now a museum. Visitors can enjoy the house and gardens.
As you can see there are many interesting places in New Bedford. Look
